US: IHG’s voco expansion has continued with the announcement today of the signing of the brand’s 25th Americas property.
Three years after launching in the region, the voco Missoula Downtown is set to open in mid-2025 and will be the brand’s first Montana property.
Voco Missoula Downtown will offer 193 guest rooms, a fitness centre, pool, restaurants, bars and more than 12,000 sqft of meeting and event space.
The property joins more than 100 signed and opened voco hotels across more than 20 countries, including the UK with the net zero carbon hotel voco Zeal Exeter Science Park, which was built in partnership with Zeal Hotels and IHG. Two voco hotels in Oxford were also awarded the Green Key accreditation for their environmental and sustainability efforts last year.
In the summer, the newly rebranded voco Fiorello – LaGuardia East hotel opened near its namesake New York City airport, offering travellers 114 rooms with property-wide sustainable features including electric vehicle charging stations.
The brand is aiming to reach 200 open by 2028 maintaining its status as IHG’s fastest-growing premium brand.
Voco Missoula Downtown is the latest in a series of new-build and conversion signings that have expanded the brand’s reach and accelerated growth pace in the Americas and also means sustainable practices have to be incorporated in the constriction process.
Other new properties coming soon include the brand’s first Canadian property in Montreal, the brand’s South Carolina debut with voco Myrtle Beach, voco Royalty Puebla Downtown in Mexico, and voco Ardez Hotel Sunnyvale (pictured with the rendering above) in California’s Silicon Valley within 10 miles of the campuses of Google, Apple, Yahoo!, LinkedIn and PayPal.
In September IHG opened its fourth voco in New York offering (see below).
