UK: Exclusive Collection, the UK’s first B Corp certified hotel brand, has launched a new initiative for event planners which highlights B Corp month.
March is B Corp Month, when B Corps across the globe showcase how and why they are impacting, transforming and using business as a force for good.
The group of hotels will work with event:decision to offer reporting and impacts to organisations holding events at one of the brand’s hotels in March 2024.
Exclusive Collection is aiming to highlight corporate demand for venues and travel partners who consider a wider ESG framework and want to reflect their organisation’s impacts on society, as well as the environment.
Stephanie Hall, group sales and marketing director for Exclusive Collection said: “We’re very proud to be part of the B Corp movement. It’s a certification that’s so important as event organisers look for venues that go beyond CSR. And with March being B Corp month it’s a pertinent time for us to encourage planners to look at their impact and for us to potentially educate new organisers and our colleagues if and where we can.”
Matt Grey from event:decision said: “Exclusive Collection is at the fore of ESG. It’s no mean feat being a B Corp in one venue let alone several! We hope to see new faces taking up their MICE B Corp Month offer and to showing the far-reaching implications and impacts of being a B Corp host.”
To qualify for holding an event during B Corp month, events must be for 35+ delegates at an Exclusive Collection hotel, and take place between March 1st-March 31st, 2024. You can see more information about the hotel brand’s B Corp certification here.
