UK: The World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance (the Alliance) has partnered with Beyond Bamboo Global to launch a sustainable amenity pack solution for the hotel industry.

The goal of the partnership is to help hotels tackle some aspects of their Scope 3 emissions by introducing more sustainable options when it comes to amenity kit suppliers.

As well as choosing which items go into the amenity kits (all items have been sustainably sourced, circular in nature, and transparent in their environmental credentials), hotels that sign up to The Planet Conscious Amenities Pack will benefit from independent third-party audits, tailored packaging and branding to align with individual hotel needs, direct support for initiatives like Empower for Employability and discounted access to sustainable amenity solutions for Alliance members.

Each item in the pack is also designed with accessibility in mind, featuring braille on the packaging (as pictured above).

Every item purchased through the pack also supports local and global projects including reforestation projects, clean water access, plastic waste reduction, and community-led sustainability.

At the end of each year, participating hotels will receive a detailed impact report, highlighting the collective contributions made towards these projects.

Glenn Mandziuk, CEO of the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, said: “This project is a game-changer for the hospitality industry. By harnessing the collective purchasing power of our members, we are not just offering sustainable amenities but creating a platform for large-scale impact.”

Tiffany Kelly, co-founder and CEO Beyond Bamboo Global said: “This collaboration represents a revolution in the way we approach procurement. The Planet Conscious Amenities Pack is proof that sustainability can be a win-win for people, the planet, and the business.

“This is a true Net Positivemodel, where each item does more than reduce harm — it actively contributes to the regeneration of the planet.”
